The Pensieve
Chronicles
A farewell gift that became a four-book novel, told in the language of Hogwarts. Real colleagues, real memories, restaged inside the castle.
- — Jizel: Why are you not making a video for her? About her time in Türkiye?
- — Hüsam: How can I get the memories from people, they are busy enough with many things. Let's create questions.
- — Hüsam: Wait — what if I create questions related to the movie? It'd be easier for me to turn it into a scenario.
- — Hüsam: Amazing. This itself is a really nice gift for her. Even without the video.
What began as a video became a series of questions, then a memory-card system, then four published books and a four-episode mini-series outline. Real colleagues filled the cards. The fiction is the form; the people are the gravity.

A four-episode prestige TV blueprint in the tone of Half-Blood Prince — desaturated sepia, chiaroscuro, smoke as antagonist, the Patronus as final answer.
01 · First Shadows at Barceló-warts
The film opens in HBP's famous desaturated sepia and grey; the castle (hotel) is quieter and mistier than ever.
- Memories of Büşra and Baver shown through a silvery 'fading memory' liquid effect.
- Najoua's arrival is the first Lumos — the first light through the castle.
- Dark signs in the background: red-eyed, black-smoke silhouettes drift through corridor mirrors. First signals of the Cuban-delegation burden to come.
Cliffhanger — Najoua walks into Hasan Ekmen's (Headmaster's) office. A shape-shifting smoke slides out from under his desk and vanishes.
02 · Growing Threat & the Eagle Eye Charm
Smoke monsters grow more defined as Najoua climbs toward Operations Manager. The castle's corners feel watched.
- During Büşra's breakfast-operation memory, smoke wraps around buffet plates and guests, threatening chaos.
- Najoua casts the Eagle Eye charm — without drawing her wand — and her gaze alone scatters the smoke and restores order.
- Liah's first day in Istanbul: Najoua pulls her through the foreign smoke (of strangeness and fear) into a safe pocket.
Cliffhanger — Two smoke beasts merge into a larger, formless giant. Red eyes glow in the dark.
03 · Breaking Point: The Smoke Invasion
HBP-style Baroque lighting — only Najoua's face and the smoke's red eyes are lit. Everything else is deep shadow.
- The Cuban delegation (the Great Smoke Army) lays siege. The smoke is no longer individual — it merges into massive, shape-changing monsters.
- Sinan and Göktürk face an attack in F&B; the smoke unites into a giant hand and overturns everything.
- Emir is swallowed by smoke at the karaoke bar, where the fog is thickest. Whether he survives stays unclear.
Cliffhanger — Najoua faces Hasan Ekmen on the Astronomy Tower. Looking at the city-eating smoke cloud beyond the castle, Hasan says: 'War is inevitable, Najoua.'
04 · The Lion Patronus and the Dubai Portkey
Hope nearly gone. Then, in the last unexpected breath, the corner turns.
- Smoke breaks down the castle gates. Jizel — sharp, sarcastic — drops a joke at exactly the wrong moment, the Riddikulus effect, and the team's fear opens a single beat.
- Hasan Ekmen lays a hand on Najoua's shoulder. Remembering Başak's 'little sister' tenderness and her happiest memories with the team, Najoua shouts: Expecto Patronum.
- A vast silver-blue Lioness Patronus tears through the smoke, scattering it, clearing the sky.
- The war ends. Some lie on the ground; uncertainty preserved. Najoua, in her Operations Manager robes, says goodbye to Hasan. In her hand: a Portkey to Dubai.
Cliffhanger — Walking out, she glances back and whispers: "I never noticed how beautiful this place was."
Six cards distributed to colleagues. Each chose one (or more) to fill out with a specific memory. Six prompts became one story.
- Card 01 · The Sorting Hat
First Impressions
“Every great wizard's journey starts with the Sorting Hat. What was your very first 'magical' interaction with Najoua when she first arrived at the castle? What did that first impression tell you about her?”
- Card 02 · Lumos Maxima
Her Positivity
“Describe one specific, high-stress moment when her laugh or smile was like a Lumos charm, lighting up a tense situation — a dark corridor in the castle.”
- Card 03 · Mastering New Spells
Her Career Growth
“Najoua rose from First Year to Head Girl. What specific spell — a skill, a talent, a way of handling a crisis — did you see her master that proved she was one of the most powerful wizards in the hotel?”
- Card 04 · Expecto Patronum
Her Leadership
“A Patronus is a protective force. Tell us about a time Najoua's kind-but-direct leadership protected the team, solved a problem, or made it easy for you to follow her instructions.”
- Card 05 · Room of Requirement
A Defining Moment
“The Room of Requirement provides exactly what is needed. What is one specific, funny, or uniquely 'Najoua' memory we must include? Describe the scene.”
- Card 06 · The Portkey
Her Farewell
“She is taking a Portkey to her next great adventure. What is your final farewell message or spell of good luck you want to cast for her as she leaves?”
"I never noticed how beautiful this place was." — Najoua, walking out.
